Linda Moulton Howe shares a personal story on her live broadcast. 10/18/2017 Linda talks about the documentary she did at CBS in Denver in 1980 – the first broadcast she called “A Strange Harvest.” Linda explains how, in the beginning, she thought she was getting into a government investigation and soon she learned there was much more to this story. After the first night of the broadcast being shown it was as if an explosion occurred – when the CBS staff started dragging in bags of these letters and Linda began reading she was shocked at what she read. These letters would often start, “…I’ve never told anyone this before…” and then she reads the stories contained in those letters. People share their experiences and events witnessed such as animal mutilations, missing time, abductions, and more. At that time she realized that she had barely scratched the surface.
